España-China: una década de comercio mutuo

En este trabajo se analizan las relaciones comerciales entre España y China durante el periodo 2000-2009. Se empieza estudiando las relaciones comerciales globales entre ambos países y se apuntan las aportaciones específicas de Hong Kong y Macao. A continuación se estudian los contenidos de las importaciones y de las exportaciones. Se constata que China se ha transformado en un socio comercial estratégico para España. En particular, se apunta que las importaciones realizadas por España constituyen la base de la dinámica comercial mutua. Además, se pone de manifiesto que las exportaciones a China pueden constituir una base para la extensión de las ventas a China.
El apoyo a la internacionalización del sector minorista en España: un enfoque desde las necesidades

La internacionalización está dejando de ser una opción para las empresas minoristas españolas para pasar a ser una necesidad. Para desarrollarse en los mercados exteriores las empresas requieren unas capacidades y unos recursos que no todas poseen, y se enfrentan a unas barreras en ocasiones insalvables. Ante esta realidad es necesaria la ayuda de organismos públicos y privados que incentiven y apoyen su internacionalización. En este trabajo se explora si el sector minorista español está preparado para la aventura internacional, cuál es el papel de los programas de apoyo en la misma, y cuáles deberían ser las futuras líneas de actuación.
Is the leadership of the Brent-WTI threatened by China's new crude oil futures market?

Abstract The recent listing of a new crude oil futures contract on the Shanghai International Energy Exchange (INE) has reopened the debate over whether crude oil produced in different countries or locations constitutes a unified world oil market. The aim of this paper is to study the information flows among Brent, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) and the new Medium Sour Crude Oil (SC) futures contract listed on INE futures markets to assess whether the trading of this new futures contract has altered the dominant role of the most traded oil benchmarks in the world. Until 2009, the legal regime of international investments in the EU was characterised by its very high degree of fragmentation due to the complex division of competences between the EU and its member states. While the former has mainly intervened to promote greater liberalisation of capital markets, member states have usually been concerned with the post-establishment aspects of international investments.
